Integration with Butler for Trello
The Power-Up Butler allows you to automate your Trello workflow through rules, scheduled events, or custom buttons. It can be used with Hello Epics to automatically add child cards to a specific parent when they are added to a list.
To implement this on your own board add the Butler Power-Up and make a Rule with the following format:
In this rule "Magic" is the name of the list that you will add children to, "My Parent" is the name of the parent card, "Butler Test 1" is the name of the board that has the parent on it, and the contents of add link are: "https://trello.com/c/{triggercardidlong}" (without the quotes)
Once that rule is in place, any card added to that column will automatically be associated with that parent. It may take 30-60 seconds for the relationship to appear on the child board, but you will see it quickly update on the parent board.
